There are those that prefer to rent video games and give them a try before committing to buying them. Then there are other people who just like to purchase a game straight out and are not into the renting games thing.
Which type of person are you? To me, buying a game before you play it is like buying a car before you test drive it. If you want to know what you are going to pay for, it is best to test it first and see if you like it. With the price of video games what they are, it is just plain out foolish to buy a game without playing it first. I can't imagine paying $40 or $50 for a game and then being disappointed with it. Of course, if you have played the game before at a buddies house or something and know what you are getting then the test drive is not necessary.
Renting video games before buying them is the rational thing to do. Gamefly is in my opinion the leading online video game rental service that there is and for good reason. They have a wide selection and availability of games for the Nintendo's Wii, Playstation 3 Console, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, Xbox™, GameCube, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP and all other major gaming consoles.
They carry new releases as well as some of the classic games almost ensuring you that will always find what you are looking for. Shipping of your games is always free both ways and there are never any late fees. Just return your games to get some new games. If you end up renting a game that you want to keep you can do so. They allow you to purchase the game at great prices as long as you are still a member.
This site is great for those who want to test some games out before purchasing that particular game elsewhere. Shipping to you will never be a problem as they have a west coast and east coast distribution center. In the past they were only in the west coast and some on the east coast customers thought the games sometimes took to long to arrive but that issue has now been solved.
I'd recommend this site to all video gamers out there but you really need to try it yourself and see how you like it. If you are not happy with it, you can easily cancel your membership before 30 days and pay nothing.
There is a small membership fee to become a member of the site, but they do offer a FREE TRIAL you can take advantage of by clicking on the link below.
